"Puddin" has raced in each of the last 5 decades. His 44 years of racing was cut short in the 2003 season with a devastating accident at Caraway Speedway.
"Puddin" got started in racing in 1959 when he went to Bowman Gray Stadium for a race and decided tha tthat was what he wanted to do.
He started there in the hobby division and move up to modifieds in 1964

"Puddin" has over 90 record wins in over 35 years at the wheel. He has a championship record in NC State Modified, NC State Sportsman, NC State Limited Sportsman, and Tarheel Speedway Sportsman. "Puddin" is another of the true legends of racing.
